During his legal studies, he achieved an overall Distinction, which is equivalent to First Class Honours, placing him among the top of his cohort, and was awarded subject prize and an overseas study scholarship. He then read law at the University of Cambridge, where he obtained a Master of Law degree, specialising in criminal justice, information law and the law of restitution, in which he was awarded with 1st Class. He then served pupillage with Cheng Huan QC, SC and thereafter joined the former Cheng Huan SC Chambers with a focus on criminal law.   He has particular experience in criminal litigation, regulatory enforcement and white-collar crime matters. He is regularly instructed to advise and represent clients including listed companies in investigations conducted by law enforcement and regulatory agencies, including the Police Force, the ICAC, the Immigration Department and the SFC. \n \nKade is frequently engaged at the early stages of investigations to provide legal advice and case strategy.
